Profiles
Dominique Dumas has been practicing as a business lawyer since 1988.
Initially specialized in company and commercial law, she soon began to focus on acquisitions, which became her second core practice area.
After more than ten years spent in major law firms geared primarily to serving foreign clients (in particular from North America, Western Europe, Africa and the Middle East), she moved to more operational positions as in-house legal counsel.
Dominique Dumas first joined Accenture as the head of capital investments for France and Benelux, moving on to become the head of corporate entity matters for EMEA. In that position, she routinely worked on business partnerships, joint-ventures (including with De Post in Belgium and with Lagardère Interactive in France) and the purchase and sale of securities, as well as on restructuring operations (in particular in connection with outsourcings). She also handled corporate entity matters for approximately one hundred companies of the Accenture group located throughout EMEA in some 20 countries.
In 2004, she joined a group of small cap companies (Air Horizons, Euralair, Safar Tours, Presse Alliance - France Soir) as General Counsel.
In 2006, having worked on both sides of the fence, she resumed her practice as an attorney and founded her own law firm, Dumas Structure.
Dominique Dumas also serves as Of Counsel for Boyer & Associés, which is the American Counsel Association’s firm of reference for France.
